Orthoplasties
Orthoplasty is a small custom-made orthosis moulded in silicone used to correct and/or protect toe deformities (hallux valgus, dorsal/interdigital corns, reducible toe claws...).
K-Taping
K-Taping is an elastic restraint technique. It is used in preventive and curative action. It can be used in conjunction with orthopaedic inserts or as a treatment alone.
K-Taping is used to treat muscular, ligament and circulatory problems:
- Improvement of muscle function: Depending on the application, toning or detonating effect.
- Joint support: By stimulating the proprioceptors, the movement of the joint is improved, ligament applications passively stabilize it.
- Pain reduction: Pain reduction is achieved by activating the endogenous analgesic system and stimulating the mechanoreceptors.
- Lymphatic System Activation: During lymph retention, K-taping helps decongest by creating more space between the skin and the injured area and thus promotes better lymph circulation.
